FAQs

What is your refund policy?

All sales are final. Defective items are eligible for exchange.

Any items purchased erroneously can be refunded for the cost of the product provided that it is returned in saleable condition. CNVC will provide a return label and refund the cost of the products once the item has been received. Shipping is nonrefundable on these returns. CNVC reserves the right to deny any refund or return.

How long will it take for CNVC to fulfill my order?

We have a very small bookstore staff, and although it is our ultimate goal to get orders out quickly, it does not always happen.  Please be aware that it can take up to a week before items are sent.

Why am I charged extra customs when ordering outside of the United States?

Customs and import duties are applied once the shipment reaches its destination.  These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and will vary from country to country.  Contact your local customs office for details.

What discounts do your stores offer?

All CNVC Certified Trainers qualify for a 40% discount at the CNVC Bookstore after the cart value surpasses $200 USD on qualifying items. If you have questions on how to become a certified trainer please refer to our webpage on the certification process.

What happens if my order isn't delivered?

Orders returned to CNVC for reasons that are outside our control (non-deliverable, inaccurate address provided, unclaimed by the recipient, etc) will not be eligible for a refund of the shipping charges.  If you request a re-shipment of items that were returned for reasons outside of our control, you will be responsible for paying the new shipping costs.

Are big purchases processed differently?

As we have a small facility, we may not carry large quantities of specific products in-house.  Large orders may require more time to fulfill. When placing an order, please allow for extra processing time.  

What if I need my items quickly?

If you have a time-sensitive request, please take this into account when placing your order and choosing your shipping method.  A surcharge may apply for special considerations. Please note, that the CNVC bookstore is closed Saturday through Sunday.

How do I get the CNVC Bookstore to sell my book?

Publishers and Authors who would like the Center for Nonviolent Communication to consider their book(s) for sale on our bookstore should email the store at bookstore@cnvc.org. Please include any publication information (ISBN, marketing and promotional plans for your title(s), as well as a note describing how your book meets the criteria for Nonviolent Communication). Note: All titles must be obtainable through a Wholesaler/Distributor.
